This post will contain information about what I'm currently working on and the features planned for the coming Curve Architect versions. If you have any suggestions for new features you can post them in the suggestion section.
Current version: 1.3.0 (Released: Sep 19, 2024)
Curve Architect 1.4.0:
- Remove the ArchitectCurveCache object and use bin files located in a Resource folder instead. (completed)
- Option for completely strip ArchitectCurveObjects and ArchitectCurves in build. (completed)
- Exposing more functionality from the Curve Architect editor API for runtime usage. (working on)
- Some type of functionality for creating 90 degrees curves, 180 degrees curves, circles, loops and so on. (not started)
- Conversion between other curves, including exported curves from Blender, Unity splines, and potentially others. (not started)
- More features can be added or moved to other coming version.
Release date: Don't know.
Curve Architect 1.5.0:
- Support for "snapping" deformations to other deformations or followers, making road intersections and connections easier to create. (not started)
- Some kind of support for combining deformations to one. (not started)
- Research if it's possible for usage of Architect Curves inside prefabs. (not started)
- More features can be added or moved to other coming version.
